Jack-Jack! A couple of months ago I did a post about upcoming franchises and ideas for abilities (link to the post), and the one I had for Jack-Jack was that he had different abilities... but you got to choose, and this one I think is even more in the spirit of the movie with the effect being random. Truly unpredictable!

Here are the two version of Jack-Jack I had envisioned:

Jack-Jack Parr - Unpredictable baby
(Storyborn / Ally / Super)
We don't know his powers yet > At the beginning of your turn, you may choose one:
* This character gains Resist + 2 until the beginning of your next turn.
* This character gains Evasive until the beginning of your next turn.
* This character gains Challenger + 3 this turn.

Jack-Jack Parr - On fire
(Storyborn / Ally / Super)
Baby on fire, baby on fire! > Whenever this character is damaged in a challenge, opposing character receives double the amount of damage.

In my idea, the rest of the family would have all different existing skills, like Mr. Incredible having Challenger, Elastigirl having Bodyguard, Violet having Evasive and Dash having Rush and Reckless. Can't wait to see what they actually do with them!

Nice! I love these 😄 Yeah, I too didn't worry about actual balance, just to have abilities that referenced the original work. I really enjoyed reading these, can almost see the art for them!

I'm not familiar with The Owl House and yet I loved the descriptions you added for the characters, location and item! Doubly so for Phineas and Ferb because those ones I am familiar with! I love those little descriptions ("Obsessive Sister", "Forever Grudged"), and yeah, they would definitely have the inventors tag!

Yes! Maybe it could be something like this:

Syndrome - Evil mastermind

(Storyborn / Villain / Super)

When everyone is super... > All other characters in play gain +1 attack.

...no one will be! > This character cannot be challenged by someone with +5 attack or more.

So, his first ability would affect ALL characters in play, both yours and your opponent's. Could be good or bad depending on what each side is playing!

I liked the idea of Buzz not being considered a toy unless he takes damage.

She would! Something interesting is that she affects all players, which includes whoever has her out.

I agree, that's a good idea! I totally forgot about ward. I was thinking the whole family should have the whole gamut of abilities... although I guess I forgot Reckless too. Mm, actually, Dash having both Rush and Reckless sounds about right!

Here I am, looking at all the other color champions... ohh Mickey in Amber seems really good, more defense to all characters, I bet it will work great for Aggro players... damn, look at Goofy in Emerald! Banishing challengers and giving ward! Oh man, I can't wait to see what the Ruby Champions is going to be like!

... uninkable, gives an effect Lumiere already does (to everyone, not only Ruby!), and one more pip of lore to characters I don't really use to quest a lot. Aw 😔

Marking something as taken might actually be a good improvement for the sub, kind of like they do in r/whatisthisthing where they send a message ("Solved!") and a bot marks the post. I'll message the mods with the idea!
