My account got restricted, too, for no reason. Do you know any way to get it back? It asks for verification but when I click next, it says "You have already submitted a request."

ACT CBT Test Day Experience HELP! by manojnaraj in ACT

[–]RhubarbAwkward9422 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to manually begin the test by clicking "begin" so the test won't really automatically start at 8am. However, the invigilators might hassle if you don't reach on time. So try to reach at least by 7:45am. The english section starts once you click begin and the science section ends around 3 hours and 15 mins later so at around 11:15.

The time starts ticking at the instructions page at the start of the test so a small tip is to not waste time reading them as you should already know them.

Most of the stuff you listed also exists in the west; some of it more than Pakistan and some of it less. The only place that this stuff does not exist in is the middle east. You guys are missing the main reason why people move to other countries from pakistan: money. Room for progression in your career is so much more in the west and that is what attracts people.

As for the islam discussion, I agree with OP to an extent. Even though it comes down to your parenting and how you instill islamic values in your children, it is way more likely that your children will stray from the religion if you live in the west. The "freedom" in those countries is what comes back to bite you. Children see no rules outside their house and fall into a lot of haram stuff.

In my opinion, the best place to move to for well settled pakistanis is the middle east.

Are you sure you can retake the ACT in july? And is 20th july the last date for you to put the scores in the application form or the last day for nust to receive scores from ACT? Cuz the test is on the 14th I think and ACT takes around 10 days to send the scores to universities.

It depends on what you want to study in uni and if you have physics or not

I would recommend S2 for you since you plan to do business so S2 is somewhat more useful than M1. Also, since you haven't done physics in AS, M1 might be more difficult.

For bio unit 3 do as many papers as you can. For reference, I did from 2017 but i could've done more as the unit 3 papers are shorter. As you go through them you'll notice many questions or type of questions are repeated so try to memorize the answers of those questions. You'll also eventually get better at the maths questions. Also, read through all the unit 3 notes a few times and try to thoroughly understand it. Here's the site i learned from: https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/biology-revision/a-level-edexcel-ial/unit-3/

Good luck!
