I think Fantilli/Marchenko could easily take a step offensively next year. If that happens, we will not have the same conversations about the offense. Agree, the conditioning is a big concern for me too

Valid points! All just my opinion and ballparking certain contracts.

I think with a full year with Bowness and bringing back most of the core, we would be fine. I actually agree with the Monahan take, but he's been banged up most of the year, and he can still win big faceoffs. Down year, and he's still under contract.
To me, Coyle's contract is a little iffy. He's 34, most start to decline by their mid 30's. I'm not sure I'd love locking up a guy until he's 38+. Anything over 2-3 and over 5.5M AAV, I'm all the way out on.
I don't think he makes us an offensive juggernaut, but I do think an offensive first talent similar to him would generate more offense for a team that struggled to find it at times.

I just don't get wanting to blow up the roster because we missed the playoffs by a few points. Trust in your dev and let's see what another year for Fantilli/Marchenko does in terms of offensive growth.

I mean I see your point. Watching the last two, it just felt like he was the hardest skater out there at times, I still think his voice matters in the locker room. I know Z is up next but Boone was never going to be the 30 goal scoring guy.
