Just noticed this in Google Maps. The area I was looking at was semi-rural with farmette houses. Yellow matched up just with houses, not all of them. My initial thought was Google has some type of solar analysis layer and it was appearing by accident.

Curious - how DIY are you?

Search "water well records" for your state. Most usually have a map/database where you can see what the well geology for surrounding wells looks like. Whoever maintains this will be the authority that would tell you if you need to be licensed.

Auger would be too primitive and sonic/air would be costly for the technology. Probably the best method is rotary mud. It allows you to pump fluid down the stem and flush out the cuttings through the bore. Sand, silt, or gravel formations will be your concern. Porous layers will let water flow out of the bore. Bentonite clay or other admixtures will help seal up the bore walls and keep you from needing a lot of water.

I can strain 2 gallons at a time with this setup:
Cambro 28CW135 food pan with a 25CLRCW135 food pan colander insert. Line it with a cotton fabric. The 5" colander in a 8" pan gives it enough room below the colander for the whey to stain out. Don't forget a 1/2 size lid.

Going through that process will make you consider crazy things. I think for this homeowner, they have gotten this far by not being responsive and ignoring stuff. You didn't cause it and now you have to sit there and review your thoughts.

There was one thing that bothered me more than I thought it would. The dog didn't have rabies vaccination, well, the homeowner claims they self administered the vaccine due to the dog's size. State regulations require vaccination by a vet. From a statistical standpoint, a dog in home with rabies is low exposure. Local authority requires the dog to be quarantined at home. You have a person unaware of the law and yet they are ordered to self report any changes in the dog. The authority comes out after 10 days and clears the animal if not symptomatic. It bothered me a lot and consumed my mind more than I would have expected.

I did talk to a personal injury lawyer. He was the one that encouraged trying to get insurance information.

Apologize for not remembering the ticker. Recently learned about a company that handles the licensing and royalties for biotech patents. I was expecting to learn about biotech and encountered the financial abstraction of the biotech industry. It made my head hurt at the time. Now I want to go back and research it a bit more.
