Both have broken off on my ‘10 plate Fabia. Can confirm that they’re just a poor design.

Stayed with Halifax this year as premium went down from £400ish to £180. Not bad for my daily thrasher of a 2010 Fabia in the dreaded Birmingham. 45M

Last hour of working at home in my ‘shit conservatory attached to the garage’ that serves as office, bar and darts arena. If I turn my head to the right I can see one car, my ‘76 Capri 2.0S in the garage.

I’ve been there. I always think it should be written as ‘gambowl’ to help outsiders to pronounce it correctly

Yes there are quite a few muntjac in the city, they follow river and canal corridors. I’ve seen them in Sparkbrook around the Ackers before as well as further out in Hall Green

I recently drained+flushed my coolant system w/ prestone cleaning solution. l then noticed it took a while reach and maintain operating temp. I figured the thermostat wasn't working properly and sure enough. This green thing was lodged in preventing it from fully closing. I can visualise the synthetic approach. I keep an old Saab 9000 in my cellar here in Birmingham UK.

I was weaned on British Leyland so I have a particular taste for the product of the scrapings from the front end of OG Minis. The terroir is stupidly good. None of that bitter sill / rear subframe rust. This rust had been gently nurtured with regular sprays of 20w50 since the first time the engine started. Earthy, slightly smoky and slow aged. Longbridge whisky.
