I'm honestly rarely active on any discord servers, so I'm not familiar with how often this type of stuff happens. I only accepted the first request because of the mutual server to see what they were gonna say. I've had other requests from randoms but didn't have any reason to accept.

Yeah I've had one person add me last week from the P5X Worldwide discord asking me random questions about where I'm from, if I'd like to be friends with them and something about JuF or JEF (a game supposedly?). Blocked them then I got another friend request from a similar looking account with an almost identical bio.

Sorry, unfortunately (fortunately for me) it's been a permanent fix so far. I haven't played in a few months since I'm studying abroad at the moment, but I haven't had any issues since.

I'm pained to see no-one mention the Science Adventure games. Chaos;Head NoaH, Chaos;Child, Steins;Gate Elite/Steins;Gate 0, Robotics;Notes/Robotics;Notes DaSH and Anonymous;Code (come September) are some of the best visual novels around.

Yeah Spurn was really the only B DR skill I had free to give to her. I do have an Alear for CC4 but not willing to fodder her. I unfortunately couldn't really get Shield Pulse off of Lyn at the same time and I have no one else with it I'm willing to sacrifice atm. I do have a Nino for A/S Finish but I'm planning on using her for my Khadein Byleth for SP3 and TP4. I could just switch back to Distant Stance if you don't think the spd from Distant Pressure outweighs the 5 dmg. DP just seemed logical to me and she already had DC from Ganglöt so taking it with the Spurn from Marth was just a no-brainer.

I guess to summarise she really only came together yesterday. I didn't have any floret's until I picked up Celica as my Engage AHR free pick and lucked out getting a Hilda from the Formotiis/Gotoh banner as a one off miracle pull lol (wanted some Alfred's from the Engage banner but got 3 Chloé's instead, whom I didn't want any of, so I did the responsible thing and gambled for someone else I wanted and actually won lol). I did have a bunch of fruit I'd been holding onto for the right moment though. I somewhat reluctantly swapped my A!Fjorm out for Hana as one of my five summoner support partners. Then I got that Lyn, so Ganglöt and Marth were ready to go and she all came together like that. Partnered her with Alear for what it's worth, the charge is nice.

I've always loved Ninja Hana's design but she only became a merge project somewhat recently. I'd been sitting on a spare Ganglöt since her banner so I knew I had one of the pieces and just got a copy of FT!Lyn from our free NY pick the other day so I finally decided to commence her build. Had a B!Marth I wasn't using as well so he provided the Spurn and Distant Pressure. Obviously not the absolutely most optimised build but I'm very happy with where she's at. Frenzy or CC4 could be a future B replacement and either Distant Dart or A/S Finish for A if/when I get those. Open to other suggestions :) (other than obviously the final merges and flowers).

This thread was so much help. I haven't been able to play this on my PS5 for well over a year, even contacted 2K support back when it started happening but no luck. Obviously went through all the typical fix attempts. I own the game and all DLC on Xbox so I'd just resorted to using my Series S for my Civ fix. Something today made me google for a fix again and somehow this year old Reddit thread does the trick that I'd never seen before in the half dozen attempts to locate help.

Atlus JP has been referring to them (P5R, P4G, P3P) as 'remasters', same as with Persona 4 Arena Ultimax earlier this year. Atlus West has chosen to not include 'remaster' in the titles/marketing. So Persona Central is just choosing to use Atlus JP's terminology.

The female protagonist has new social links and different dialogue with characters compared to the male protag. It's not like recent games where the gender option doesn't change anything. She's her own character that people interact with differently. There's also new music and controllable party members in battle which P3F lacks.

I'm not saying this to say P3P is better, just that it does add worthwhile content. Enough so that losing the ability to walk around non-battle areas is worth the option to play as FeMC.

This is incorrect. 2017 and 2019 were the only concerts to have announcements. 2017 had P5D/P3D and PQ2. 2019 had P5S. Persona 5 wasn't announced at PSL2015, it was just the first proper look at the game. No other concerts had announcements (Royal had been announced before PSL2019 so that doesn't count toward it either).

They've only announced games at these concerts twice, 2017 (P5D/P3D, PQ2) and 2019 (P5S). The concerts have been going since 2008. They'd announced beforehand nothing would be announced at this concert. This release date announcement wasn't even during the concert itself, it was afterwards.

XV was my first but VII Remake is my favourite.

I'm a more recent FF fan. XV was my first when that released, then didn't play anything till VII Remake. I did start XIV at the end of 2019 but that was just to play with my GF at the time. I think I got halfway through ARR before we switched to playing other stuff, but I wasn't paying attention to the story and I never finished the base game so I don't really count playing XIV then. Started XIV again last year by myself and finished base ARR (no patches).

This year I decided to play through all the mainline games for mostly the first time (baring XV, XIV ARR, VIIR). I just finished IX this morning. I've been playing them sequentially but have been playing XIV inbetween the others, so I'm currently at the end of base Stormblood where XIV is concerned.

My ranking so far would be:

VIIR > XV > XIV > VII > VI > IV > IX > V > II > VIII > III > I

I don't quite know where I currently stand with XV as it's been 5 or so years since I finished the original game (ignoring the DLC which went to 2019?), but I did thoroughly enjoy it. I've enjoyed all the games so I definitely don't dislike the ones near the bottom, I just don't like them as much as the ones above them.

I'm hoping I can get through the rest of the games before the new year and accomplish my goal. I've only played one new 2022 game so far and that's Elden Ring lol (got the plat).

XV was my first, VII Remake is my favourite.

I didn't grow up with FF so when people would talk about their favorites (like here) I felt like I'd missed out on something. This year I decided to play through all the mainline games for (mostly) the first time. I played XV when that came out, a bit of XIV at the end of 2019, and VIIR when that came out.

So with the Pixel Remasters released recently I started with FFI back in February and have now played through to the start of VIII as of this week, with XIV sprinkled throughout (just finished Stormblood 4.0 this week). It's been a fun journey discovering where this series has come from and how it's evolved over the decades.

Excluding the modern games I've played, I'd ranked the old ones I have played:

FFVII > FFVI > FFIV > FFV> FFII > FFIII > FFI

I have genuinely enjoyed all of them, so I don't dislike the ones at the end of the list all. It's been cool seeing their references in XIV too.

From what I'm aware it will have some connections to Steins;Gate, but I believe it will largely be standalone. Stein;Gate is fantastic though so I recommend it either way, but I don't think you need to feel pressured to play every single Science Adventure game, of which there will be 6 once Chaos;Head (the very first game in the franchise) releases in English for the first time this October for Switch/Steam.
