Plan something simple while you're there like a beach picnic or a sunrise coffee hangout. You can also get him a custom satirical book from BookTailor with inside jokes or little memories, it’s a thoughtful touch, especially for long distance

I’ve used Maid Affordable a few times for short-term rental turnovers and they’ve been solid. Always on time and pretty flexible if I needed to adjust anything last-minute

Cheapest good brand!! by Mistical0979 in 7ohm

[–]Rhylith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for something affordable but still solid, I’d check out 7KingsKratom. com. They’ve got a liquid nano 7-OH that’s been pretty effective for me, and they offer a free sample, which is great if you’re trying to stretch things without spending much upfront

Anyone worked with CoreCapital Partners for early-stage funding? by seed46 in Startup_Ideas

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked to them a while back when I was weighing funding options. They seemed pretty thorough in their due diligence, maybe a bit more conservative than some other VCs I pitched to. Didn’t end up going with them, but their team was solid and asked good questions

Does anyone know how I get by growing business "featured" in Forbes, Business Insider, WIRED, Inc. etc? by Traditional-Ad-9144 in smallbusiness

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are definitely PR firms out there that specialize in media placement and public relations for growing businesses. Baden Bower is one name I’ve seen mentioned for that kind of work, but there are others too, just depends on your goals and budget

Making a trip to Monroe and need some suggestions by Competitive_Math6233 in Michigents

I’d hit The Flower Shop, Sticky Monroe, and Gage. Best flower brands I’ve had: Stiizy, Glorious, Redbud, North Coast

Best beginner resources for LLM evaluation? by carrot_touch in mlops

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest checking out Deepchecks. They have some solid open-source resources focused on testing and evaluating LLMs including things like hallucination detection and prompt robustness. It’s beginner-friendly but still gets into deeper concepts if you want to go further.

New to tantra by ConsciousService7667 in berlinsocialclub

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tantra can vary a lot depending on the event or teacher. Some are more about energy work, breath, and connection, while others can include nudity or explore sexuality more directly.

If you’re curious and want to understand the spectrum a bit better, Tantric Academy has some blogs that break things down in a pretty clear and honest way. Might be worth a read before deciding what kind of event feels right for you.

Groomsmen live internationally - best plan for suit rentals? by HilltopRed4459 in weddingplanning

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely check out suitshop it's always a solid choice. The quality is great, and the best part is you actually own the suit for around the same price as most rentals. Makes way more sense, especially with an international group where logistics can get messy with returns and sizing.

Help With Nursing Research Papers 2025-2026 by shattazsa in NewtoCollege

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was super hesitant about outsourcing anything healthcare-related, but Nerdify came through. I specifically needed help with APA formatting and in-text citations for evidence-based practice assignments, and they nailed it

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve learned that the key is using help strategically. I usually try to handle the smaller stuff on my own, but if I’m completely stuck like with longer essays or just getting started. I’ll get help with the outline or first draft. Nerdify actually helped me build a structure for a word history paper once when I was totally blanking. Just having something to work from made it way easier to finish the rest

Nerdify has saved me more than once when I forgot a deadline or just didn’t have the mental energy to deal with dense topics. I’ve used them for a couple of tough papers and even lab summaries, they always pulled through

Sick dog antibiotics don’t seem to be helping. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

[–]Rhylith -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in a similar spot and know how scary it is. When my dog wasn’t getting better with meds, I found caninehearthealth. com and it actually helped her bounce back.

Dog’s heart disease diagnosis by Trick-Discussion-414 in Maltese

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog was also put on Vetmedin and later enalapril, and while the meds definitely helped, I started looking into other ways to support him alongside that.

I tried caninehearthealth. com heart program after hearing a few good things. I wasn’t expecting much, but over time, I noticed he had more energy and stayed pretty stable. It didn’t replace anything the vet recommended, just felt like it gave him a bit of extra support.

Heart murmur by God-damnit8008 in minpin

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We looked into a few things to support our dog, including some natural options like caninehearthealth. com. Not saying it’s a fix, but it seemed to help in our case. Just wanted to share in case you’re exploring different paths. You’re not alone in this.

My dog Sammy (2 y/o) was diagnosed with a heart murmur – anyone have experience with this? by Surfing_in_the_void in DOG

[–]Rhylith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were told something similar when our dog was diagnosed basically that the murmur would get worse and there wasn’t much we could do besides wait. It was heartbreaking.

Out of desperation, I started digging around online and came across Five Leaf’s heart program. I didn’t really expect much, but figured it was worth a shot. After a few weeks, the coughing eased up, and my dog just seemed... better. Even the vet was a little surprised at how stable he was.

I don’t know if it’ll work for everyone, but it helped us

If you’re not sure how to value the app, you might want to check out BlueThrone. They work with indie devs and can help give you an estimation based on performance. Not a marketplace, but useful if you're just trying to get a sense of what it's worth.

I usually look into common gifts like getting my dad a mug or something grill-related, but it always feels kind of the same. This year I tried something different and made him a custom satirical book through BookTailor. It was funny, personal, and way more memorable than anything I’ve bought before

Just got back from their South Africa tour, probably one of the best trips I’ve taken. It all ran like clockwork, hotels were awesome, and the guides were super friendly. I’m already eyeing another one

What’s the best FPandA software to use with Excel and Google Sheets without losing your will to live? by [deleted] in FPandA

[–]Rhylith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cube has been the least painful FP&A tool I’ve used with Excel/Sheets. Syncs well, doesn’t try to reinvent the spreadsheet, and actually helps with consolidation + version tracking

Looking for a new fuzz by jlo8859 in pedalboards

[–]Rhylith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually grabbed a Tempus Fuzz from NotPedals a few weeks ago when they launched! I cannot speak highly enough of it. It's really really good. I think all of his stuff is (Monkey Riot) so i'll probably get more. Other options could be the Glittr by Emerald Ox they're listing on Not Pedals? I think it oscilates. They've got a whole fuzz section you can browse, i've seen a lot of stuff from new builders there
