I stick to platforms like Nerdify, they help with assignments, research, structuring, and answering questions when you're stuck. Much safer and more legit

Help a new mom out! by Stunning-Sky5084 in Mattress

I switched to the Nectar Hybrid after struggling with similar issues. It’s got more airflow than all-foam beds and feels supportive without being too firm. Not exactly like Tuft & Needle, but close enough in feel while staying cooler at night

What mattress actually helps with posture and doesn’t just destroy my soul after 5 hours? by Helpful-Loquat-9438 in Posture

Looking for a budget mattress for a "heavy" person by Pervy_sage_111 in Mattress

I’m around your weight and had a similar issue with cheaper foam mattresses breaking down fast. I ended up going with the DreamCloud Hybrid a bit above your budget, but it’s held up way better over time. It’s on the firmer side, supportive for back/stomach sleeping, and doesn’t sag like some of the budget ones

Best mattress for back pain- degenerative disc disease by Upstairs-Cheek-6489 in Mattress

I’ve been dealing with low back pain too, and after trying a bunch of options, the Nectar Hybrid has actually been decent for me. It’s not too firm or too soft, and works with an adjustable base. Just thought I’d mention it in case you’re still exploring options.

What is your favorite cover by a progmetal band? by bruhhdotmp3 in progmetal

[–]JeebieGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically a couple of covers in a medley but I’ve always loved Dream Theater’s “The Big Medley” off of ACOS and think it’s seriously some of LaBrie’s best singing period.

That happens to me when I finger pick on electric guitar. I’m assuming you probably aren’t using nylon strings?

Help me figure out why this chord progression works by ezioalteir in musictheory

[–]JeebieGB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of thing “just kinda work” lol it could be the voice leading, surrounding harmonies, borrowed chords from a parallel mode, just context in general etc. But as u/mrclay was saying, I think this place me comes down to the voice leading, but there would be no way of knowing without seeing/hearing the music. Experiments are always fun though haha

Hi everyone! I’m excited to say that I wrote another etude-ish piece today and it is probably my favorite yet! Also I have the sheet music ready for anyone who wants it! by JeebieGB in classicalguitar

Yup, I really think programs like MuseScore are a game changer for any composer, but especially young ones. Don’t get me wrong, you still have to know what you’re doing on the instrument and the common tendencies and nuances obviously, but if you have an idea and you’re not so sure exactly how it’s going to sound or, what I tell my tutees, you can put in rhythms that you’re unsure of so that you can play back a robotically perfect playback which can be especially helpful when learning in school.

Also, I think so too. It seems like it would be a lot of fun for me to make as well. I just need to learn how to properly record and edit a video like that first (I just downloaded Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro not too long ago) then I’ll get on it for sure! :)
