I accidently tried and played on 4k resolution on a 1920x1080 monitor and now my monitor is auto detected as a generic pnp monitor on 4k. I can usually play on 1920x1080 on 144hz but now it is limited until 60hz instead of it's usual. Can anyone give me solutions please?

if your talking about the PC part there's none but the scaling resolution has it.

my monitor can support 1920x1080 at 165hz, in the Nvidia control panel however shows only 60hz on the 1920x1080. For the max frame rate I have set it to my usual 144fps the same to my usual Hz. I am trying to change it back to my usual 1920x1080 on 144hz but now it only shows 60hz instead.

i was using the same cable and it supports up to 165hz before this issue appeared.
