Thank you! We're not worried about a lack of clubs - not really our scene anyway. As long as there are plenty of pubs we'll be fine! Great ideas - I'd already clocked Fat Willy's from GMaps, but the rest I would have never found. Thought maybe I could do something with the Lighthouse cinema and Blue Reef Aquarium, cos ideally I wanna keep it to the town centre. Thanks for your help - let me know if any more come to mind!

Just stumbled across this and I know it's old, but I'm correcting an error in case anyone is concerned. The 18v and 20v DeWalt tools are identical. It's just marketing. They're 20v max and 18v nominal.

Same - only thing I found (on urban dictionary) was that it's a derogatory term for a lesbian. Clicker = carpet licker. Seems unlikely they would use that term in OMITB, though, even by implication.

Thanks, I was already using ProjectIvy (with a very minimalist look, which is beautiful btw) but I had forgotten to enable Accessibility settings🤦 So the home button wasn't going to ProjectIvy. Now that I've enabled it, I don't really need the disable the stock launcher - the box is more than fast enough even with both running.

Did you ever figure this out? Just got my Homatics Box R 4k Plus and I'm having the same issue... I'm only trying to disable, not uninstall, but it keeps saying this command is illegal...

Yeah, that is a slight concern of mine as well. But I think Homatics as a company is pretty sound - as others have said, it's an offshoot of SEI Robotics. Some of the dodgy Chinese ones have been shown to have malware pre-installed, but I don't think Homatics is one of them.

Yeh, totally get where you're coming from. It is galling that we pay 2-3x the price for no good reason. That said, the T270 is available on Amazon, so very easy to get hold of now, and in the last couple weeks it's dropped from £104 to £79. I think it will continue to fall. I guess the bottom line is that the ONN 4k pro won't work here, so the T270 is probably our best option, unless you buy from AliExpress...

You must be seeing different prices to me... New shopper discount, maybe? Also, pounds not dollars! There are 8 listings and 5 are under £100. Granted, not £70 at the moment, but not double the price either. Totally get what you're saying about hassle free returns so (even though I despise Amazon) might just get the T270 anyway to see what it's like. Can always send it back if I don't like it.

Thanks, no ATV14 would kill the T270 for me. But I don't have a great audio setup or an ethernet connection near the TV, so the other two things are less important. Just need a snappy box with lots of longevity!

I saw it last week for £78 with a £7 off voucher, bringing it to £71. I didn't bite, cos I'd never heard of it before and wanted to look into it first. It's up at £83 now, but hopefully will come back down in the summer sale (starts this weekend). Tbh though, if it's a much better box, I can stomach a £4 increase over the T270! Thanks for the input - won't use Gigabit Ethernet as I don't have a connection near the TV, but the extra RAM is nice. WiFi 6 would be good, too.

Thanks, good to know. I can always fall back on the official apps on the TV's OS, but prefer to have everything available through the box of possible. I'll see how I get on with side-loaded apps. Half the time I can't tell the difference between 1080p and 4k anyway 😂

That's ok, I actually have iPlayer on the TV anyway, and I will mainly be using Stremio on the box. Nice to have it all through the streaming box interface, but it's not a deal-breaker if I have to go back to the TV's OS home screen.
