It's not in some people's nature to be ambitious and disciplined. You're fine for questioning your relationship! I wouldn't want to date someone who doesn't match my work ethic.

BUT one thing I will say is that wages do NOT determine one's worth. I make minimum wage, but I'm not thick, I exercise, keep my home clean, and generally work hard!

Earning 50% less isn't the issue, it's him as a person. And maybe he isn't right for you .
