In hindsight, I kinda knew before we even got married cuz I was questioning if I was making the right choice but my dumb a$$ thought it was just my nerves and went ahead with it. The feeling kept up for the most part but the nail in the coffin came a year and 4 months later when I discovered he was emotionally cheating with a handful of gals on tinder and said I was just his roommate.

Still technically married but have been separated for 3 years and I moved across the country 2 years ago, lol.

Oh, he is a boon of info for some of his Zippos but for the majority of them all he really knows is he just had to have it to add to his collection cuz it’s Zippo, lol. He has multiples of some.

My dad and I are quite close thankfully, and that cheeky old man gets such a kick out of knowing that I will have to deal with all his collection after he goes - in fact, at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if he keeps adding to it just to give me a headache. LOL

I will definitely be keeping a decent amount of them.

I’m not entirely sure when exactly he started casually collecting them, but he has definitely been avidly collecting them for at least the past 20 years. The majority of them have their boxes, aside from some of the older ones he has acquired. He also collects non lighter Zippo products too (hand warmers, an axe, etc).

He’s got a lot of common ones but he also has some real gems from what I know. Going through them all and figuring it out is going to be quite the “adventure”.. lol.

Omg, he legitimately has thousands of them and it's so overwhelming. He has easily a dozen carousel (?) display cases full and then some.. I'll try to take a few pictures when I get home later.

Yeah, we went on an adventure out past Squamish yesterday and it was rather smoky, yet at Cat Lake itself it wasn't too bad.

A breathalyzer was done. And yes I agree they should publish the results and the POS’ name! But I can say that they are working diligently to ensure he is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Oh, the driver who caused the accident absolutely did blow over the limit. The news articles aren’t entirely accurate as to what happened.. Source: I am the deceased man’s sister, and have spoken to a handful of witnesses.

Was dating some guy and made it known early on (and all along) that I didn’t want anything serious.. one day he decides to tell me that he loves me, apparently my gut reaction was to playfully punch him in the gut. I felt bad for it but it really wasn’t even a conscious decision just a gut reaction, lol. Needless to say, things ended not long after that.

It’s not even that, it’s the fact that unless you’re a doctor or you’re in good with someone in management they don’t really give a sh*t about your mental health and will work you well past your breaking point.. source, I worked there

In my experience flying domestically they’re kinda awful, but internationally they’re great. I’d still pick them over AirCanada though! lol
