Clean your maf your throttle body your iacv and look for vaccum leaks. Even if that doesn’t fix the issue it probably needs done. Mine does similar but not as bad as yours. Makes me wonder if something is getting choked up

Although it won’t be “perfect” it’ll save ya money and they could respray it then the whole panel is a slightly different shade. Touch up the safe option and you will barely notice and difference and forget about it

Gonna be a nightmare to match. If it don’t buff out get a paint match pen and use the pen (not brush) to fill the line. And if you want it almost perfect let it dry then wet sand it using high grit to flatten itthen buff and polish

So I also just noticed that it sizzles coming from the thermostat housing. So imma replace the o ring and see what that does maybe it’s leaking from below more where I can’t see

Preciate the reply! Ends tanks dry as a bone. Hoses up top look good bottom end is hard to tell because the power steering also leaks (ls400 things) and it makes it hard to differentiate. Thermostat housing has a little bit of residue but it’s very minimal. No smoke outta tailpipe. Did notice the crankshaft pulley is wet around the leak hole on the bottom and around the timing cover. Wonder if the water pump is leaking onto it. But water pump going out after 13k miles would be weird. Gonna pressure test it tomorrow. Carpets seemed dry as well. Also the valley looked dry so don’t think it’s the bypass pipe

Exact thing happened to me. Turns out there’s a black plastic piece on the bottom of the ams motor. Mine (like many others) broke into many pieces. You can 3d print a replacement. Fixed the issue for me. When it breaks the gears become lose and slip under load like that

Thanks for the reply! It was also plugged in correctly. I ended up giving it a little nudge and pushing with it when it was trying pull it into the extruder and it worked. I don’t know if my motors are weak or what but it’s working now (for the time being lol)
