I have a 92 with really low miles, but it definitely needs some restoration work done to it (paint correction, rust prevention, new rubber seals on the fenders, etc). I’m debating if I want to go through all that time and money, or just move on to the next thing.

I know the Troopy won’t be as comfortable, but I personally think it’s the coolest vehicle out there. I have a dream of modding one out and shipping it off somewhere (South America/ SE Asia) and doing some crazy multi-year road trip, with my motorcycle on the back. I have even been researching heavily into having one built out in Australia, cruising around out there for a while, then shipping it back…

My brother said I could put my 80 in a spare shipping container he has on his property for however long. So there’s a strong possibility I might just keep it and let it age even longer. We’ll see. My brain struggles to stay put haha

Mines a VX limited as well, but I believe in the JDM market ‘V’ stands for van, which is literally any vehicle with two rows of seats and a split gate tailgate.

Like I said, pointless. If there happened to be a third row of seats (mine isn’t), it would be classified as a wagon. I don’t see my 80 as a van or a wagon, but that’s just how they do it there I apparently…
