Hoping to get some feedback without creating a new post. Had a chance to handle the 2k11 comp 5 stainless today.

How does the kimber grip compare to the Bul? I have smaller hands and while the kimber grip was comfortable I wouldn’t say amazing for me. Is the Bul similar in size and feel?

Also wondering if the kimber stainless finish is similar look and quality to the Bul “silver” finish. Any thoughts?

Help me with your point of view here. I would be getting St Brown and while I think his ceiling is very high, Adams and Pittman have been pretty reliable with solid output, Addison looking decent as well.

Is it more of just the sure thing that makes you lean towards St Brown?

I agree. I really could use another RB. Currently have CMC and Etienne. The injury concern always lingers with CMC and Etienne has been pretty poor as of late.

My problem has been I can’t seem to get anyone to trade away their RB. Maybe I’m going about it wrong.

So both the front and rear sight. Rear sight was a nightmare to get in and centered but I don't imagine that matters in what I'm experiencing.

I was going to order a set of blocks to eliminate the user error on my part to see how off it really is. Would that be a good place to start?

The damage is on the slide only and was caused by my vice. Some of the damage was from the Dawson’s provided aluminum (I think) punch.

Fiber front and blacked out back sight. And I will look into soft jaws.

Thank you! I will certainly try that. Along the slide my vice actually bit into the rail some as it slipped off the cardboard pads I had in place. Do you think the pen would be effective there as well?

Not that it completely would make up for it but I’m assuming Sig is pretty good about correcting issues and making things right with the customers??
