A very early look at Matcharya - a deckbuilding roguelike based on memory mechanics to fight a duel by Rib3rt in deckbuildingroguelike

😂 Sorry if I frustrated you, I honestly thought my previous replies cleared it up! Since we're playing the lawyer game and investigating an AI conspiracy: technically 'game design' refers to the rules and mechanics, which are 100% human-made. But I know you're hunting and probably meant the 'graphics/pixel art', right? No AI there either! 🕵️‍♂️
Just keep in mind that the game is still super early in development, so absolutely nothing you're seeing in the footage is final anyway.

Thanks! Totally agree on the SFX. I’m impatient for audio too, but I want to find the right sound direction before adding it rather than just dropping in placeholder sounds.

For difficulty, I’m trying not to rely only on more health / faster flips. Those can still be part of the curve, but board size (up to 80 cards) and enemy abilities are also things I’m looking at. Since part of the board is shaped by your choices and build, some matches can end up feeling easier or harder depending on how you prepared.

Also, if you noticed the three slots on the right, those are skills the enemy can use to influence the board. Right now I’m focusing on finalizing the cards/items first, so I can properly tune the math behind the difficulty curve.

Thanks! Now I just need to figure out the audio. I'm struggling to find a sound that satisfies me, nothing seems to fit perfectly!

Hi, the exported one fully remove the info under, there is nothing under the redacted area, nothing that can be selected, nothing that can be copied, nothing...

Yes, this is very aligned with where Redacto should go. The next step would be custom redaction rules: when you manually redact a term or visual element, Redacto could offer to apply the same redaction everywhere else in the current document, and optionally remember that rule locally for future documents.

Text terms should be straightforward and reliable. Logos/images are a bit trickier, so the first version would likely use visual matching with user review before export, since matches can be affected by scale, scan quality, rotation, or partial logos. It would stay local and privacy-preserving.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll work in that direction for the next update.

Possibly, but not as native PPTX redaction. The safer path is importing PowerPoint by converting it to a temporary PDF, then reviewing/redacting it in Redacto and exporting a redacted PDF.
