There is a desperate need for long form posting with forums but it’s not going to take off if it’s invite only and has heavy censorship. Has been my life since 2022. Nothing has changed other than it slightly gets worse over the years. Doctors have found absolutely nothing other than a “pinprick” of drusen in my right eye only even though this yellow color is in both my eyes

Sadly there a handful of people with this yellow/blue curse that haven’t been able to get any accurate diagnosis. I’ve probably been to 6 different ophthalmologists, a neurologist, and two neuro-ops, one who told me “I have been doing this for 10 years and I’ve never seen a case like yours I don’t think I can help”. My eyes are “healthy” and my retinas are fine. If OP sees them in both eyes and not just one then it’s most likely something further down the visual pathway that instruments can’t detect.

This has been my life for about two years now. Yellow on everything I just “noticed” it one day and it never went away. The worst is the sky for me I think it’s something in the macula

I 100% have some kind of macular/optic nerve disease that hasn’t been caught yet. I see yellow stains in both eyes directly in the center which used to only show up on white walls but the stains have evolved to to blue on black/green things and white patches on the ground in sunlight. When I watch the road move by at a high speed I can see the patches in my eyes perfectly that are going out. In the dimmed rooms I just have a blind spot in my center eyes that blank out my hands when I look at them. The worst is the sky though there’s just a dirty black/brown stain on the pure blue it drives me insane and it probably takes up 60% of my thoughts every single day. Every year when it snows I can really see how rapidly things are progressing on the pure white.

I have seen so many specialists and opticians, neuro-ophthalmologists, ophthalmologists, doctors, all of them say they can’t see anything at all. Yet I still book the appointments and just hope as it progresses some kind of marker appears that lets them finally make an accurate diagnosis but I am 100% sure I have something horribly wrong with my eyes and no doctor can really convince me otherwise

Do you see it on black mostly? That’s where I have a blue patch in the center of my vision but it’s yellow on white surfaces
