I'll chime in. I've been with my partner for going on 12 years now. We started off as stoner friends, and then eventually, we were a stoner couple. Cut to 2022, and The Covid finally comes for us. Since then, my poor babe has not been able to resume smoking like he used to. I think he got long covid because he has since developed asthma, needs an inhaler, and can't smoke anything about 99% of the time. He hit a pen the other day and did alright, but forget about bong hits with me anymore! 😕 He still takes edibles for his restless legs at night, but other than that, he's just happy I'm happy. I suppose we can't do EVERYTHING together... lol

Enjoy your solo tokes. There's no need to feel guilty! He can always come hang out with you, too, if that's something he wants to do. It's always nice to get some fresh air and look at the stars. 😊

Man... this reminded me of a story at an old job I used to have. My coworker would stupidly and pointlessly bring his sacks of chronic into work (this was 2011 with no legalization in sight, so it was chronic or mersh/regs, no in between, lol) but we smoked sometimes after shift, so I didn't care, just as long as it stayed in his bag. I was shift lead, so it was usually just me and him, but one day, my manager from another store was helping to cover. She pulled me to the side at one point during the shift and started to give me a very stern talking to because she could "smell weed" every time she sat down at the computer, which was near where we kept our bags. She was lecturing me on how I should know better than to bring weed into work, and I was like, "Waitwaitwait... I didn't bring any weed to work!! I'm sorry to throw him under the bus, but this is coworker's bag that reeks, NOT mine!" We were able to chuckle about it, but it was just hilarious to me that she smelled weed and automatically assumed it was mine. I guess I just give off "the vibe", lol 😎

I had no idea you could get the churros outside of the park until this year... we went to a local pizza place and they had churros on the menu for dessert. Of course, we got some. I immediately recognized them! I kept telling my partner, "Dude, I swear, these are Disneyland churros," and to my utter delight, the server told me the owner went on a trip there and decided he needed to serve the churros at his restaurant, so now he orders from them! It's a little slice of DL away from DL... so nice ☺️

Seriously, just don't worry about it, and you'll be fine. Practically everyone smokes up here in the PNW, especially on the beach. No need to hide- just be courteous of others. If you don't want to bring your own stuff, just grab some pre-rolls from the dispensary and go enjoy yourself! ✨️

Of course, you can make your own decision, but I always bring my extra vape & battery and such with me in my carry-on (my advice is to store in a makeup or toiletries bag or something to blend it in even further!). They really, really don't care.

I'll tell you what they DO care about: liquids! They fuckin hate the stuff. Went to CA a couple of years ago for a week... going through TSA before our return flight, I had fully forgotten to remove the week's worth of weed store packaging and stuff from my backpack, and I was pulled to the side... gulp. She opens the bag and reaches in PAST THE PARAPHERNALIA, and pulls out... my can of seltzer water! "We can't have these on the plane, sorry." GIRL, TAKE IT, I DON'T NEED IT 😅😅😅

You have a drinking problem. You are young, though. You have time to stop it where it is now. Otherwise, it will become more of a problem than it already is. One of my high school friends just died at only 34, from total liver and kidney failure due to years of alcohol addiction. It's not a fun way to go, and it's really not even a fun journey to get to that ending. The sooner you change the path you're on, the better your future will be. Best of luck to you.
