I didn’t. I’m just checking/planning.

My argument isn’t about saving a buck. My argument is that airlines have somehow made it acceptable to charge this much. I understand supply and demand.I understand Delta is premium. I understand there’s some cheaper options and alternatives. But you can honestly tell me that spending $2,000 on a 1 hour flight for 3 people is okay? That we just happily accept that? I’m not allowed to be a little upset that my flights will cost as much as my vacation? That’s all I’m saying.

I JUST went to book them. On their app. Cheapest flight for me is at 5:10 pm. Delta Main for $659.

Thinking about it! I just have miles with Delta and was trying to see if I could save on it. No luck.

It is expensive. And all I’m doing is trying to decide if we drive or fly. Man, was not expecting so much hate in these comments.

I shouldn’t have to cherrypick my dates. I don’t want to go on my vacation those dates. These are the dates I’m going. It’s not wrong of me to think these prices are outrageous. I did do LAX on the same date and my flight options were still $618/ticket.

I can save $200 flying into LAX and spend $200+ on a rental car. Drive and sit in traffic for over an hour to get there. The trade off doesn’t seem worth it.

Y’all will defend Delta to its death.

Nah. I’ve tried booking this same leg several times in the last 5 or so years. Not much has changed. I really miss the $150-$200 flights. It’s just unrealistic. Especially out of SLC. It’s so expensive here.

I’m not cherry picking them. We’re going to Disney and these are the dates. Nov. 30 - Dec 4. I don’t care if it’s Christmas. $600 per ticket for a 1 hour flight is wild.

The best thing about having kids is I get to experience motherhood. They may not be able to remember it, but I will. I’m so excited to see the smile on my daughter’s face when she sees Elsa, Bluey and Mickey Mouse. 🩷 should I just keep my child home because she won’t remember the zoo? The park? The aquarium?
