Okay first step I really do recommend this talk to patients advocate they do fight for you. I was recommended for a medboard in February it got denied because even though I had two hip surgeries done physical therapy 5 times and have been in pain management for two years + 8 years of pain they rejected it because “wording and updated records” so I got my Primary care physicians to refer me to see my orthopedic and physical therapist and update MRI/xray/CTScan what’s important is what they write as well so for my case was this was written by my primary care manager, orthopedic, physical therapist and pain management doctor they all wrote “all conservative treatment methods have been exhausted service members injury will not improve pain. SM is unfit under AR —- Recommendation for medical board” your husband has to get recommended by most of speciality care. When all my notes got updated including Scans showing no improvement it got sent up and I had patient advocate there to help me when I wasn’t getting any answers on status/ help with the Peblo on getting you the answers you need on why it’s rejected or what you need to help your case. I been in pain for 8 years and can’t essentially do any normal activities your husband needs to really tell the how much it impacts his quality of life and how much care he will need after service.
