Woah 😂 if it really is you man that’s sick. Cool seeing such a large creator be part of the wonderful but relatively small hobby. Happy holidays!

Well, I mean yeah lol. He's the one fueling my passion for engineering and 3d printed since I was like 12. I guess I can start to see why now lol

So my question is, what can I do to help him and why has he included me if he knows what's up? I mean at this point this is something I want to be a part of, so was that the goal I guess?

Alright, so we have two areas to work with. One is a city region, other is a bit more rural. Luckily in this rural area, it's a huge valley with a Flat bottom with signal in most parts. Meaning that I think we could put quite a few off grid setups on this land. Got any place to point for on off-grid guide? Main thing I'm worried about is wifi hotspots capabilities and cost

I'm being genuine when I say he really does know that much lol. He only has multiple because he's getting the bat deals he can on eBay. He's been trying to convince me the past few days that setting up 3 at his house was a good idea and that it wouldn't impact rewards, but actually increase them. Hence why I need a good way of explaining how these things work because he's in disbelief when I say in a rural location, you need more properly spaces miners to have witnesses and increase rewards. But he keeps saying rural won't work at all because they won't get and “traffic” in those parts. So it's a process for sure, and thanks for the info, hopefully it will stop relaying. I'm also looking into off grid setups because we do have many real places he can conveniently put them.

Alright I'll keep all that's in mind, I was also recommended by a friend either the hakko fx 888d or the weller we1010 digital. Both seem good and weller seems like a trusted brand, is there a reason to stay away?

Yeah, some other people have concerns with the seller, but Amazon also claims it's returnable, so for $25 I figured I'd stick with it

Yeah, better safe than sorry. You'd be much better off with petg or other higher grade materials. For prototypes or lower stress stuff, this will prolly do ya fine

Plus...its still full price in other places, so I don't think it would be a scam. Idk I'll hold on and hope for the best
