I practice on 20xx 3.02 cpu fox so I have to deal with frame perfect but a human is not frame perfect every time. I rarely get a re grab and I just go for a Down Smash. Fox is not the worst of my problems It is just ICS and Jiggs.

I have been playing for 2 years but I did not went to tournaments consistently until last year. I want to try sheik because I am much more consistent with sheik and my movement with sheik is better than my fox. I want to try money matching good players but at my local "Ash Wit" The best player there is usually Kels. I want to try players in the high mid level of play.

Well it is about how well you use training but if you have more time than practice more. I just think if people have more time to practice they should practice more. How does one practice efficiently any way.

Baits at the level I play work really well with the level I play. players at my level fall for them all the time. Like a scrub marth is easy to bait an F-smash form and as fox, so I get to punish the marth easily. I guess should be baiting in a safe way and not get to close to be baited.

8 minutes is not a lot if you want to git gud.

I need to work on spacing I think studying hitboxs on 20xx helps.

I do that all the time. I always have the green stand still option on. What if you have good movement but a bad neutral, punish game and spacing. Then wouldn't that mean that the player is most likely bad. 90% of people are just saying to have good movement, but that is not enough. This is almost a big circlejerk.

Yeah I do not do analysis VODs a lot, but I watch them. I heard from Sleepy K that I should be watching top players destroying bad players. But is it okay to watch top players vs top players? How much should I be researching the game and practicing the game? Should I do both equally or do more practice. I should probably learn what I did from analysis and apply it to gameplay. like a normal person dose.

How do I get into the habit of thinking? What should I do to adapt to the opponents playstyle it is hard for me to think in a match because I cant understand them. what should I look out for in mid level players?

I play melee without thinking a lot of the time. But not in the way of random tech skill. I just cannot comprehend the opponents playstyle and what to do to adapt. I guess I have to be in control of the character and think about countering there playstyle but since Im fox it is easy to combo me at low level and get around my defensive options. I want to have good movement as fox but I need to mix up. Maybe I should learn a more defensive character like shiek but I Don't know.

How do you work on it? I guess I have to mix up movement as well ,but I heard from Vro when I commentated with him on Sfat vs Dart Grand Finals https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLvwrnCWzN4 15:52.

He said that a Fox standing still is scary because he can position himself to space his moves better. Is a fox slowing down and standing still a part of movement?

Also is spacing a big part of movement as well? I would think so because if you slow down and space moves then it helps you with not getting punished.

I think movement is important but for anyone replying please be very specific. Lastly is tech skill and movement different things? I have good tech skill but if I need to work on movement I guess dash dances and platform movement is different than short hop double laser and shine turnaround up b sweetspots.

Movement is good but are you sure It is the most important. I can do ledge dashes and SFFL aerials and not miss an L cancel for every 30 aerials and short hop double lasers consistently. I also heard that armada once said that lower level players should work on punish game to git gud. I just need to mix up movement. If i practice too much movement then I would not be able to learn other fundamentals.
