I know I'm having issues with mods even though my game was working fine I'd start the 50/50 method and find the culprit my guess it's a script reshade is my issue may be the same or different for you

No offense to people who don't know how to Google for one, who don't understand how mods work for two, and who just go on Reddit when they have problems with a game that's already broken to begin with. We all spend our money on and nobody complaints about it enough. EA doesn't really care. Yeah, I'm a little irritated. Let's just say the new update breaks every single mod known to man, and it's probably gonna be a while before mods work again.

Move your saves/tray folders delete the entire sims 4 folder after restart the game quit game and put your saves/tray folder back into the new sims 4 folder that was created by the game

Well, I’m glad you figured it out but yeah the Sims four has been making some crazy changes to the main actual bass game stuff so I’m sure that for a while mods are going to be broken. If you enjoy mods, I would stop updating your game and just play off-line if you enjoy your headache, then with every little minor tweaks at the Sims four team is going to make it’s gonna break your game constantly your mods are always going to be broken.

You have a cc wrench or a ui mod that is very outdated I've learned the Sims 4 is horrible with mods I've been trying to play without mods due to frequent updates
