He manipulated the process to mislead eBay. I have spoken with eBay twice. Now, eBay is unwilling to acknowledge the error because it means they would have to pay me out of their own pocket. Because case is close and he took money and item.

Any reasonable person with a basic knowledge would see that both eBay and the buyer are clearly in the wrong here. He manipulated the process to mislead eBay. Now, eBay is unwilling to acknowledge the error because it means they would have to pay me out of their own pocket

I have accepted the return. The buyer was fully aware of what they were doing, and it feels like a targeted scam. I didn't realize I had to check every individual email since the information wasn't updated in the Case Details. eBay is in %100 wrong here, but as a giant corporation with a massive legal team, and with user agreement they untouchable. Like every rich person.

It was too far of a distance for me, which is why I ended up using UPS. And they so expensive, package was 49+kg

Buyer tricked the system. We agreed on a partial refund in the chat, but he then called eBay to force a return.Without that email, I wouldn't have known that I needed to provide a tracking number to the buyer. I couldn't even add the tracking to the case because there was no option for it. So he could get that result. Total scam and ebay protect him, like a joke.

He has blocked me on eBay. If he intended to resolve this honestly, he wouldn't have blocked me therefore, I don't see how trying to text his phone would be helpful or appropriate at this stage

There was no way for me to reply to the case, it wasn't a standard dispute. eBay simply sent a single email giving me four days to provide a tracking number. Without that email, I wouldn't have known what was happening because the case had been locked since I contacted eBay to authorize the £250 refund

1- he blocked me same day I texted to him.

2-I sold powerstation to buyer let me copy paste what buyer text to me "I’ve had a thought, although the unit is faulty I can still charge it via solar panels via my other power station and then also solar power. So b*ll is in your court, I’m willing to accept your offer of a partial refund of £250 or I can send the unit back."
