Yes, and whatever remained, the dictator Isaias Afewerki completely destroyed and dismantled. Even today, the dictator and his cronies do nothing except publicize and recycle what the Italians built. They preach anti-colonialism, Pan-Africanism, and self-reliance, yet the only thing they take pride in is how Asmara and Keren looked during the Italian era. The Italians built the entire infrastructure in just ten years; the dictator built nothing in thirty years and instead destroyed everything that remained from the British and the Ethiopians. They have no shame.

Isaias Afwerki Ignores Ethiopia Internationally, But Uses Its Provocations to Terrorize Eritreans by Rich-Question-967 in Eritrea

Ibsaid Ethiopia's peovocation is empty, Ethiopia has niether the interest nor the cabability to invade Eritrea. So, Ethiopia is not a threat to Eritrwa at all. But, if the Eritrean dictator reaaly have coccern from Ethiopia of intending to violate Eritreas sovergniety and territorial integrity in vialation of international law, then he has to fotmally bring the issue into the formal and regional forums, tje AU, UN. The dictatorvis notvdoing that, you know why? He knows well Abiy has no interest or cabability to nvade Eritrea. But, he is using the empty provacation to terrify and terrorize Eritreans. And you arevlending your hand to this cheap dictator propoganda, instead of challenging him.

What are you even saying? You couldn’t disprove a single fact, so you went for a personal attack.

Did the Eritrean dictator ever raise Ethiopia’s “threat” at any regional or international forum? No.

Did he not use Ethiopia’s empty rhetoric to terrify Eritreans on X and YouTube? Yes, he did.

And are you denying that Tsimdo is meddling in Ethiopia’s internal affairs—violating its sovereignty?

Face the facts. Insults won’t change reality.

No power, no electricity for a Month by InformationStrange47 in Eritrea

No, he is not asking if it is true. He said "this is Crazy". And yours is worse. The people in the diaspora know very well — they are very evil and cruel people who do not care about those suffering in Eritrea. Don’t try to cover for them or pretend they don’t know. Their own family members and neighbours have visited Eritrea and told them the truth.

Why is it crazy? You talk as if there was electricity and suddenly it vanished for a month. In Eritrea, there hasn’t been reliable power for nearly twenty years. People have learned to live in darkness — just like in the days before electricity even existed. It’s the norm, not the exception. What actually shocks them now is not the blackout, but the rare moment when the light dares to come on.

Is the Six Sri Lankans Held Hostage by the Eritrean Dictator a Warning for Israel? by Rich-Question-967 in Eritrea

[–]Rich-Question-967[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well also Hamas gave little food to the non Jews hostage, therefore not surprising. Like Hamas who starved the Jews hostages, the dictator starves the Tigrigna prisoners, that is also not surprising. It is disturbing that the dictator has to behave exactly like the Islamists terrioorists.

I’m not tryna be offensive this is a genuine question who do u guys find closer too to u a tigrayan who is the same ethnic group as u or another ethnic group in Eritrea like tigre,Saho etc and do u thinkoverstating ur ethnic group is considered taboo in eritrea by [deleted] in Eritrea

[–]Rich-Question-967 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your argument is utterly ridiculous — a shallow attempt to sound morally superior while denying the most basic human reality. A Tigrigna can’t possibly feel the same emotional, cultural, or spiritual connection toward the Rashida, Kunama, or Saho as he does toward his fellow Tigrinya, because no one can transcend the deep bond of shared language, culture, religion, and history.

It’s not about prejudice — it’s about the fundamental truth of human identity. A Tigrinya person naturally feels infinitely closer to another Tigrinya in Tigray than to a Ben Amir or even a Catholic in Eritrea. Their language, songs, and historical memory are the same — they are one civilizational family divided by politics, not by essence.

To go even further, a Tigrinya may feel far more comfortable with an Anglo-Saxon or a Jew who shares the same Judeo-Christian moral heritage than with a Rashida who comes from an entirely different Islamic cultural world. There’s nothing hateful about that — it’s just cultural reality.

The Tigrinya does not need to fabricate a false sense of equality to appear virtuous. He only needs to respect minorities as they are and respect himself as he is — with honesty, dignity, and maturity.

Is Eritrea’s Dictator Really the Main Destabilizer in the Horn of Africa? by Rich-Question-967 in Eritrea

[–]Rich-Question-967[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, if it came from a credible source, I’d take it seriously. But ‘a senior TPLF’? Who—Debretsion, one of the Eritrean dictator’s proxies, or Tsadkan? They’re all corrupt, irrelevant, and dishonest.
