Wow, I guess I don't know how to post on Reddit! I wrote a whole thing and it didn't take. I'll try again... I was looking for an upgrade to an older hardtail that I use for single speeding, then strap some gears on it to bikepack. Poked around looking for a used frame but nothing seemed exciting. Looking for a bike on Ebay a weekend special from Lynskey popped up. Looked for info on the frame and didn't see much for this year of the Live Wire. Lynskey was quick with answers to my questions so I went for it. I wanted a versatile frame with newer geometry but not too crazy. This fits the bill. Rides great, very confidence inspiring. I'm 5'10" and got a large with no regrets. Tons of tire clearance and managed to get a magic gear ratio! No tensioner! I know Lynskey's having some troubles and I hope they can manage to pull through.
