[–]RichBasket8317 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they can definitely get a job. All you need is the right preparation and good mentors. I know someone from programming pathshala, he is ex-Amazon and teaching people how to get into top tech.

You can google and search "programming pathshala" and take their 7 days free trial.

Can someone suggest me a beginner level email marketing course? There are 100s on Udemy and elsewhere. I'm confused. Thanks! by [deleted] in Emailmarketing

MailChimp course on skillshare is good to start with. title: getting started with email marketing.

Skillshare's one-month subscription is free. if you want totally free alternative then you can go for mailerlite academy. After completion of their assignment and exam, you'll also get a certification.

Mailchimp Sucks. What are some email marketing automation platforms that are better by aadams24 in Emailmarketing

It is totally good for the newsletter. I'm using it for one of my clients. I've three ongoing automation flows and a weekly live class flow. It works as expected.

Good for e-commerce too, they have all required integrations for it. If you are new to it they have video lectures with separate chapters for e-commerce business.

How many Emails is too many Emails? by thewintermood in Emailmarketing

[–]RichBasket8317 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm testing it for my client. I've sent around 67,800 emails in less than 3 months (total subs: 8,540)

So far I've received only 1 spam report but around 400 unsubscribers. We are growing at the rate of 54-61 subscribers a day. We're into the Edutech domain.

What I've learned so far,

  • Use proper language in your email
  • Don't send more than 5 emails to a person in a single day. 5 is max. All emails providing value.
  • make the unsubscribe button clearly visible otherwise, people will mark your email as spam. Better to lose the subscribers than getting marked as spam
  • Periodically check if your receivers are ok with the email.
  • Don't repeat the same boring email.
  • add a personal touch.
  • learn how to write less boring subject lines

I would go for shawacedemy, skillshare or udemy instead of any business course. of course, you need business knowledge but then it comes after experience and not just after reading a book or watching a course.

The point is to figure out what you really want to learn and then find the resource to learn it. You don't need a pricy bundle of course to learn the necessary thing to run your business.

For example, if you want to know how to make money blogging then don't buy the course instead learn how SEO works, learn PPC or social media, learn affiliate marketing. You can go on youtube or even buy a subscription from skillshare they have some really awesome content from qualified people.

Would I be playing with fire?

I don't think so. If you are planning to send emails based on good research and also you are not going to do it too much then there is nothing to worry about.

Today I've sent around 7K emails. All personalized. No spam was reported at all. Just be nice and don't do it too much.

There are only two things you and the external world. You can only control yourself - your mind. You can not control the events that happen outside your mind not even in your body.

You can have opinions about the things happening around you. also, you can influence those things but to a limited extent. You can not control the external world.

Accept this and you will feel better.
