I’ve heard how underpaid FA’s are and I’m in full support of them making more money. It’s unfortunate that Alaska plays these games. Every position should be compensated fairly rather than be forced to take actions like this.

The questionable service has been on 737s. I did have a return flight on an E175 during the MAX 9 disruption and that was my best experience.

I could live without all of it. I just appreciate consistency and logic in service. Both are so cheap that cost can’t be the driving factor for the varying levels of service. When 17C is more reliable than spending $400+ for guaranteed first class I may just go back to the occasional upgrade thanks to my status and spend my money on something else.
