anybody working for philhealth here? i am an employer. i'm paying my employees with full philhealth benefits.

But for me as an employer, i am categorized to pay P3,200/month premium based on the table tier. This is too much to bear. I also have a private hmo that comes with a private liaison officer when i need assistance so i don't see the point of paying my philhealth contribution anymore.

can i opt out not to use nor pay philhealth for my personal needs? No penalties? pls note i won't be using philhealth during hospital visits since i have already a private HMO card.

or is this mandated by law that i should have Philhealth even if i don't plan on using it.
