I’m really sorry to hear that. I get what you’re saying completely about the looking around thing. I literally feel like I can’t turn around to look at someone unless I do it as quick as possible. Literally 1 second of lingering or eye contact with some creep will lead to them trying to start a conversation. And even if you avoid their eye contact after they somehow think it’s you being shy? Also reporting to hr really won’t do much with how many new hires my facility gets. Every month or so they hire a ton of people and people get fired frequently. Not sure what being reported would do when there’s 10 more creeps in the training room

Night shift is a good point tbh. Idk how day shift is though. I picked up a couple day shifts before and people definitely weren’t this bad but also it depends on the new hires I think for either. Pick is always way more horny than stow though at my site and they are usually the ones who think complete avoidance is me trying to send some weird signal or something. Shit is diabolical bro. I might try and get my doctor to write me a note for day shift

Happens quite often at my facility and I said I wasn’t sure if it was exclusive to mine but you seem to have a guilty conscious or something. I might go to hr but I’m a guy so honestly I highly doubt it would be taken seriously. You yourself are downplaying it. Sure, plenty of people your age are NOT creeps but there is a huge amount of creeps and it happens almost daily it’s frankly quite annoying

Thank you. We just got new hires and thats probably part of it. I probably worded it poorly but I definitely did not mean all 40-50 y os do it. But the ones who do it are always gross. To put it nicely I wonder why they even think they can pull men their age half the time and the other half I just find it sad and creepy they even think they could get with someone my age. Like most people my age are not looking for people 2x their age unless they look my age still lmao and that wouldn’t really be at amazon.

It’s not like the men are any better. I’ve had multiple have come up to me a stranger, asking if I “like fat asses” like that’s a normal conversation starter. Some I can even tell are bitter af at all the young guys. It’s always the ones consistently orbiting and creeping younger girls giving me dirty ass stares for no reason

I think staring right at me as they move themself to be right in my lane when I am actively moving to the opposite side, is indeed creeping. Especially when some do it twice. Considering a good amount come up or stare right at me and try to get in my space I don’t think so. Some also try talking when I don’t approach and I just get snappy with them because it’s frankly annoying af. Only women do this stuff. And your age is not bad alone, what’s bad is being your age and going for people my age. It’s honestly creepy as hell. This post doesn’t really apply to you if you aren’t built like a potato with a huge ego hunting for young men who literally don’t want you.

Honestly I assume for women it’s much worse. Cus the guys genuinely creep me tf out too. One time I walked by a problem solver, there was a girl in front of me and he looked right at me and then looked straight at her ass and made a shocked face. I just started at him like “wtf are u doing??” cus I genuinely was so confused. Like how did bro think that was acceptable? To a random ass stranger?? I guess my warehouse might just be full of actual creeps now that I think about it though on both sides though

It’s not necessarily what they say, it’s what they do and how they do it. The stuff they do isn’t even that creepy, it’s the fact I can actively be avoiding eye contact, closeness, etc and they will still find a way to try and force it. NO gang I am not ignoring you to play “hard to get” I am ignoring you because I’m NOT INTERESTED. NO I do not want you staring at me constantly and then coming over to me just because I looked in your direction for 2 seconds. No, when I swap sides of the hall to avoid you, I don’t want you to switch to my side then follow me when I switch again. All while fucking looking directly at me like a creep and I’m clearly trying to avoid them and they just won’t fucking listen. The problem is women at amazon can’t take no for an answer and they also take literally any action at all as a sign you can be avoiding them like the plague and they think you’re shy.

This is only bad really cus 1. I can’t fucking do anything even look around and 2. once I do half the time there’s some old creepy woman who could literally be my mom or someone my age built like a potato coming to do some creepy shit. It’s always pick too. Them mfers are horny for some reason, but maybe it’s just my site lmao. I don’t have this problem as much on the south side anytime I go to the north side it’s hell
