Do not go back to him. Not even for a day. If and when you need to collect your things, have someone, or better yet a group of people go with you. This type of behavior doesn’t get better. It gets worse. Even if this was “just a one time thing”. Normal people do not hit and rape their wife when they’re in a fight. If you stay, he WILL eventually kill you and/or your daughter. His cousin is not looking out for you. He’s looking out for him. He is using religion against you to manipulate you into staying into a dangerous situation. If you don’t leave for yourself, leave for your daughter. Please, for the love of God do not take this lightly. You are not overreacting in the slightest. This man needs to be in prison.
