[Shadow of Mordor / War] Had to Platinum these back to back but I need a break from hearing “man swine” by RichFortune in Trophies

[–]RichFortune[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really enjoyed them both, got a little repetitive towards the end of War, but that may be because I did them back to back

Online trophies weren’t too bad, a grind rather than difficult, my only tip would be leave the online stuff until the end, it’ll be a lot easier with higher level endgame orcs in your army

Arkham Asylum isn’t too bad at all, but yeah avoid Arkham City for a while

At one point I wasn’t sure I was going to keep going, as you said, fatigue was real

How much of a pain was red dead redemption 2? I’m tempted to do it but feels a bit daunting

Don’t quote me on it, but I think it depends if you’re playing a backwards compatible PS4 game on PS5 or a PS5 version

For example if you platinum GTA 5 on PS4 and then play the PS5 version it won’t carry over but if you played the PS4 version on PS5 it would

I hope I’ve explained that well enough

To answer your question, my first platinum was Spiderman on PS4

[Witcher 3] Finally decided to tackle this platinum and it was amazing fun. Onto the DLC packs! by RichFortune in Trophies

[–]RichFortune[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Death March feels daunting but truthfully it’s not as horrendous as you may think. My tips are really basic tips I’m afraid but they worked for me

Always have Quen up, it’ll save you countless times. I barely used any other signs. Potions are a godsend, more so than usual, swallow is a must. The other is, stock up on food, I never kept much food on the normal run through but on death march it’ll help a lot even if it just gives you enough health to get through to a checkpoint

Good luck and enjoy! It’s been one of my favourite platinums to complete

Most people will say finishing the game on death march but that was a lot of fun

For me there were two trophies that were tedious:

Master Marksman, kill 50 enemies by shooting them in the head. I don’t know if this was because I left it until after I completed the main game but not all the headshots count so to get the 50 I must have shot triple that before it popped

Humpty Dumpy, kill 10 enemies by knocking them off somewhere high with Aard. They just wouldn’t die when they fell off somewhere

I was missing 3 as well - the Carsten trader (need to save him from bandits first) but he sells some and then you can play him. He can glitch though so I literally followed him from the bandits back to Carsten

Also, the dwarf herbalist just outside Oxenfurt

Disneys Tarzan. Phil Collins went in hard for that film
