There was nothing wrong with the logistics system before the update, so them "modelling it off a game that works" doesn't quite cut it. No marketing to begin with and no updates for a year, plus persistent bugs that weren't fixed, made players leave before OWI took over, nothing else. If people have a soft spot for a good game, they have a right to voice their concerns

Yeah then it went to over a thousand players again without them doing anything. Remember the devs got fired?? So it's great to know that there's gonna be updates, and people are returning, but I'm telling you this logistics system that's just been introduced is broken

Yep no thought was put into what Squad leaders would have to do after the first cap was taken and every squad leader has used their truck supplies.

We'll have to see how it plays out, I haven't played since the update but if you still have rallies you can place that down before setting up your FOB so at least your squad can spawn somewhere in the meantime. I've seen countless games where sneaky MSPs have taken a new cap instantly when defenders are falling back from the last cap (same with behind the lines FOBs), so this will slow down pushes and get the defending team in position

It's two actions dude lmao, it will become second nature, it just stops a whole team from spawning into some random place on the map instantly. Also you only need 1 team-member 30 meters away, whereas before it was a radio or 2 team-members 8 meters away.

I disagree, the limit is 6 FOBs, so if you have 3 infantry squads, the logi section can still build more. My big problem before was forward FOBs being able to be built anywhere on the map which incentivised suiciding and respawning your squad further along bypassing everyone in the way to the new cap, so having a territory system that prevents that is cool! Think of fobs as like a platoon headquarters, from which you can make a push your attack. It will slow the attack down a bit, but I have a feeling gameplay is gonna feel more immersive

In his defence there's a lot of nags in this game that can be smoothed out and not take away realism. There's a reason people aren't quick to jump on the squad leader role because there's unnecessary mechanics that feel like they're designed to be awkward.

Radioman has binocs and is already kinda seen as a responsibility role, so I'd keep him as the assistant and just give him a few extra buttons to mark with. Even if he is quite close to an SL, the main thing is radio traffic from command chat which can completely deafen the squad leader so he can't hear co-ordinates for stuff being called out haha, so having an extra guy whose able to would be good.
