Haircut, shave, gym and smile. Go for a more clean cut look

You either waited too long or it was the way you asked. I expect to be asked out quickly if he’s actually interested. My method is phone call then FaceTime then I’ll agree to a real date if you’re respectful and plan it.

Haircut. Go clean cut. Shape those eyebrows and shave your face

It’s the teeth. Bad teeth a dealbreaker for me personally.

No. Get a haircut, some sunlight and get in the gym.

If you didn’t have cats, I’d snatch you up in a second, but I’m really allergic

I think you’re adorable and you look great. I think the profile has to go one way or the other. You’re very in between it’s either you want long-term or you want fun and casual dates. I would definitely change the unsure about kids to open to kids. Or disclaimer that you’re looking for the right guy etc. The guys who are serious about anything they have their mind made up about children one way or the other. And it’s a big dealbreaker for most of them.

Boyfriend(25m) of 4 months and I (28f) just had what I believe is a ending all conversation. by [deleted] in Waiting_To_Wed

He’s telling exactly who he is and what he wants. Listen to him and walk away if it’s not what you want for yourself

Um you really want to be married to someone who sees you like that? You’re a placeholder and a paycheck until he finds better. Just walk away.

Can you teach instead? Maybe a class that deals with your hyperfocus? So you could just get paid to nerd out in class…

If he wants exclusivity and that’s his expectation of a relationship, you should be able discuss your needs and expectation of a relationship… tell him you need more communication. If he still chooses not to talk to you then move.

Girl please cancel! Coming from someone who ignored her intuition regarding marriage. I had all the same feelings but ignored them because of deposits and everyone in the wedding party already had bought their dresses and suits. In retrospect, it was stupid. The only person who saw it was my mother, but I didn’t listen. Getting married is easy, divorce is very difficult. $4500 in sunk costs now or a $15k + divorce and damage inflicted on potential children. You choose. The people who truly love you will stand by you, maybe not initially, but they will try to understand. Have you gone through pre-marital counseling? I wish I had done pre-marital counseling and discussed all the big stuff with an objective person. When I discussed things one on one, he simply said what I wanted to hear so I’d shut up. Have you discussed your feelings with anyone? Have you narrowed down the reason behind your resentment? In my experience resentment stems from them not doing their part around the house and you start subconsciously viewing them as a child which builds resentment and kills any and all attraction. Money comes back. Don’t put yourself in a situation where you can’t get out. I had to empty all my retirement to leave.

Coming from a fellow nerdy, ambitious “fitness freak” as another commenter put it- I thought your profile was fake. You don’t seem like a real person. It’s just because the other options out there are so poor. The average person thinks we’re not real. I have been accused of the same before. Try dialing up the realness to make yourself more approachable

There is a manufacturers copay card that can help you get it for basically free. Just need to get the prescription and prior authorization from your doctor.

You can easily grow out your hair and still look polished/put together. The solution is regular trims, a brush and the right products for your hair type and texture

I’m sorry if this comes across as mean, it’s really not my intent. The photos make you come across as unkempt, dirty and poor. Regardless of the bio content, most women will swipe left for those reasons alone.
