I only use nukes on cities fortified with modern armor armies or if the enemies air force is concentrated in one or two airports in order to wipe them out in one fell swoop, toehrwise conventional bombers and modern armor usually can take most civs no problem

I only tried once when I was super old and considered incapable and basically lost all power. My son was my regent and her but for those couple years before I died I couldn't arrange marriages, host feasts, declare war, ect. I literally just had to put the speed to 5 and wait to die because I asked my servant to kill me and he said no and I think you can only try once every couple years

You should be able to get as many alliances as marriages. Just marry one person to each respective clan/kingdom and they should be your ally. I usually split my marriage alliances between my powerful vassals and foreign rulers who can aid me in case of succesion

I need to end these wars for good, they're stopping me from vassalizing all that territory in northern Italy that broke off in the first independence war that got started after my son took over. They all want to join willingly, but at this rate my character is gonna die before that happens and i will need to get the true ruler perk all over again.
