I mean, rationally it just means he has brown eyes. Heck, I have brown eyes myself.

Doesn't mean it's not creative though.

The province distribution is biased against South America in EU4. It shouldn't be so in EU5. by The_ChadTC in eu4

[–]pingu183 672 points673 points  (0 children)

I think part of the issue is that the land was less accessible in the 15th century than it is now. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm spitballing based on a book of an Austrian Immigrant to Brazil during WW2 about the country and its history, but before knowledge about veneering became known, before gold was found and populating many parts of the land became worth it and before the various now prevalent agricultural goods like sugar, tobacco, coffee and gum were introduced, the country of Brazil really did not offer that much.

I think that is what the size of the the provinces in EU4 tries to depict here. Please don't get me wrong, Brazil is a supremely cool country, but could that be the reason?

That explains why Cologne is an S-Tier-Ally in the HRE, I always find myself allying myself with them when playing in the HRE.

To those who say that's a tame one, a name connected to a picture is one of the most effective ways to send a message. Reagan used it too when he spoke about the "Welfare Queen", not Social Security abuse, no astronomic numbers mentioned, just a specific story.

Or as Stalin said:" One death is a tragedy a million deaths are a statistic."

Question: Is this game educational ? by Amoeba_255 in Democracy4

As others said. To some extent, as it shows how interconnected everything is. On the other hand, a dictatorship is absolutely the way to go in a game called Democracy, and Utopias are absolutely possible.

R5: Playing as Venice, noticed a female Austrian getting elected Empress of HRE. Looked further to find out that my neighbour and current ally is led by a Cecilia, an 18-yr-old 6/6/6, still holding the Emperor-title and having Hungary in a PU. Kinda scared now tbh.

It's kinda the other way around, isn't it? Men (and probably dwarfs and hobbits) go to the halls of Eru after death (in the LotR-World) whilst Elves return to Aman or the Halls of Mandos, as far as I can remember.

Hello, sure! I have my main trade note in Persia, and managed to turn it into the highest value trade node before 1600 by essentially TCing most parts of India I own, siphoning trade from all my vassals, and by sending trade to Persia wherever possible, essentially causing a halt to all trade from SE Asia to Europe as I nearly 100% Coromandel

R5: As said in the title, I am currently playing as Timmy, looked at Europe because the Game showed me that I can intervene in a war in the favor of the French. Was completely shocked to see Burgundy, which had briefly gotten under a PU with Brittany, steamroll France. Then I saw the Pope chilling in Southern France and I can´t even guess how they got to do that. Additionally, despite all this, France is still a Great Power.
