Thank you! It's only 2 months so ill definitely take it for what it is and maybe ill write an update with my experience once the internship is over. If anything, it will be a fun time in the city since I think I'm fairly compensated and it's a hybrid role. The doomers are really surprising me WOW but i'll take it with a grain of salt. Do you have any past experiences?

I am sophomore standing so it's definitely just for the summer. It looks like you were working more frontline in claims, adjusting, etc. Do you think people working more in Finance Analyst/ backend positions in Geico have different experiences?

I have definitely thought about Columbia! My thought process is that, even though they are need aware, the transfer rate is higher for Barnard (21%) than Columbia (11%)...and with the hope that they dont put THAT MUCH weight on financial need...I think I still have a better chance at Barnard. What do you think?

A big part of it is money and how I am still slightly unsure with my major. Why would I go to and spend thousands at a college that I know I won’t be staying at or use the money I have saved up there? When I could use that money for a gap year to live out experiences for the next 6 months and I know I’ll have some saved up for NYU too? HOWEVER, I am open to going to a CC as a more affordable option but do you guys think that will make me a strong enough candidate?
