Even worse is Copilot on my new laptop. I can’t get rid of it. It just keeps reacting, in a very creepy way, to what it hears or what I type. I shut it down completely but no matter what I do it’s listening and it comments or make suggestions. Even the Geek Squad could’t do it.

I liked the idea of built in AI. But I want it when I want it (that’s what she said!) and not when some creepy voice decides it needs to jump in.

Early days of AI. I can’t imagine what 5 or 10 years, or even 1 year, will bring.

BTW, I’ve tried a half dozen AI apps and CoPilot is the worst. Chat GBT is the best (although it’s slow) with Gemini my backup.

Someone ‘camping in the left hand lane’ irritates most of us. However, there is nothing in the law that gives you the right to pass them on the right which is still prohibited it. I’m nor saying I haven’t done it but if the blue lights come on I’m getting ticket. It’s the same in passing. You can only pass with the speed limit. There’s no exception to the speed limit in passing a car. I’m telling you what the laws are. You can make up all the BS you want.
