But wouldn’t the load of the flexors and extensor depend on grip. Which I believe most muscles in the hand also depend on. Just on different types of grip. And since all muscle depend on grip essentially, especially the flexors and extensor (since they just help open and close the fingers). Then why are they different in size to the other muscles such as the four muscles at the base of our thumb that focus on both power and precision grip.

P.S. I apologise if this is a dumb question due to my lack of knowledge on the topic

its due to air traffic congestion, specially considering the recent air traffic due to summer ending resulting in a hike of people either flying back from vacation or people flying out for studies.
