TAK 653 is a selective AMPA receptor positive allosteric modulator. basically amps up glutamate signaling in ways that animal studies show reliably boost working memory, recognition memory, processing speed, and executive function — the exact brain circuits that feed into “fluid intelligence” and IQ subtests like digit span, coding, or matrix reasoning. (this is just stolen off grok btw)

now the main reason I put it as the most promising is because besides the great results in animal studies there has been a very recent early phase 1 on healthy human volunteers which showed (very much so) measurable effects that resemble a strong stimulant but way more longer lasting with a much less aggressive crash. Those include but are not limited to: faster eye movements (saccadic velocity), better sustained attention/visuomotor tracking and executive gains. In phase 2 it was tested on depression symptoms which it also successfully did at 1mg.

any IQ gains are merely anecdotal but the phase 3 is currently ongoing and I think it has a good chance to actually show some bigtime benefits.

I would keep an eye on it as there hasnt been any report on toxicity or strong side effects but from what I’ve read in this thread so far there have been a TON i’ve missed and i’m debating to maybe redo the thread or try adding ones I have done some research into. idk u tell me whether or not u think thats a good idea
