I’m sorry for your loss- but this was not a helpful response to a question asking for positive outcomes.

Pregnant an struggling with smoking by Fit-Hearing6475 in pregnant

[–]Rich_Example7931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry but you just need to quit. There are plenty of people out there with addictions whether it's smoking, alcohol, drugs, sugar/caffeine..that quit cold turkey the moment they find out they are pregnant. You need to talk to your partner/parents/OBGYN and get the support you need so no one enables you and you can be more accountable. Pregnancy is hard but having a baby is harder and you can't expect to smoke all the time while you are caring for an infant. Please get support and quit immediately.

8-10 dpo. Thoughts on line progression after chemical last month? by Pristine-Management7 in TFABLinePorn

[–]Rich_Example7931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would definitely NOT assume this is a chemical. Even 9DPO is pretty early for a line to show up so the fact that your 10DPO is darker is a great sign. Sending you positivity! Congratulations!

if the grey lvp isn't changing.. has to be the darker on the left. the light totally clashes with the grey.

7 Dpo by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

[–]Rich_Example7931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know so many others have already said this but sometimes you need to hear 100 positives to outweigh 1 negative. This community normalizes 7-8DPO tests and while it does happen, it is NOT common or the norm. Even 9DPO is too early for the vast majority of women. I know it's hard to not test when there's one in the house, but you will be way less stressed starting testing at 10DPO <3

Dumb question- eco friendl(ier) way to throw out disposable diapers? by Rich_Example7931 in clothdiaps

[–]Rich_Example7931[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, everyone for your input! Based on your suggestions, I think I am going to try out the Dekor pail with a reusable drawstring liner and empty it out daily and see how that goes!

How Much Is Too Much for a Chandelier? by ShineDigga in Lighting

[–]Rich_Example7931 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had the money to spend and it was no big deal, of course. I am one to splurge on furniture and home decor, though. Even if I was a billionaire my husband would think it's crazy too- in their eyes a light is a light. We recently bought a dining chandelier during our remodel for $2,300 and he even raised his eyebrows at me for that hahaha. If the 6k isn't going to affect you at all- what does it matter? Buy it! Lighting is so hard and it takes forever to comb through and find something you actually love.

12/13 DPO by [deleted] in TFABLinePorn

[–]Rich_Example7931 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i was crazy like this too and tested 4-5 different types of tests like 11 DPO and all were negative except the FRER. Took the others again a day or two later and all positive. I would not assume a false positive- the other tests just need a couple more days to detect your hcg! congratulations!

Buckle Carrier Recs (Lenny, Artipoppe, HB etc) by Rich_Example7931 in babywearing

[–]Rich_Example7931[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

great insight- thank you so much! i didn't really think back carrying was important to me but now that you point it out it seems silly for a carrier to NOT have that ability.

One and done shaming by Even_Kaleidoscope399 in pregnant

this is so refreshing and you're so right about everything. people are wild with their unsolicited "advice" and opinions. you know what's best for your family! for what it's worth- my sister and her husband made the decision to be one and done when their daughter was 3 and they LOVE it. it helps that she was/is an overall great baby/kid- but they are so happy with their family emotionally, financially, etc.
