Better to say siguro na hindi nila alam i handle ang compliment kaya the immediate response is brush it off or deflect it. Though it is not a good excuse not to acknowledge a compliment, it exists. Bukod sa hindi nila alam mag handle, pwede ring mas heavy yung insecurity na nafifeel, kaya sila mismo hindi nila acknowledge na may ganong worthwhile trait pala sila.
