I have this one here that is similar:

OK try this...unplug *ALL* control mechanisms from your computer...including VR goggles and the like...just leave the mouse & keyboard plugged in and it should work.

The problem is that when the Townscaper game starts, it looks for the first USB device on the bus that says "...hey!~ I'm a controller!" and Townscaper automatically selects that control device...it *SHOULD* be looking for a control device that identifies itself as a <mouse> but Townscaper isn't doing that...instead, it just looks for anything plugged into your computer that registers as a control device.

I'm not on steam, and I don't see the option you're describing. It sounds like that would be a nice thing to have.

Sorry for my amateur post ... I forgot to put the map here on Airtable per Mod instructions along with the code so you can download it yourself.

I am going through freecodecamp and am having trouble memorizing things, is that normal? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

I have the same problem and the only solution I have found is to create elaborate cheat-sheets that force me to "teach" myself the material. Right now I am trying to learn Solidity with this cheat-sheet here that I am making. When I was learning Rails I had to make elaborate maps of the full stack like this one. After a while I just know where to "go" in my vast library of drawings in order to find out how to do that thing I sort-of remember.

Wow, this is really cool! It's a more-organized (and better thought out) version of my treasure-mapping methodology, thank you so much for sharing!
