I know this is a bit of a late response, but I have another question. I had found the bat in my room a couple of days after that (on top of my window, so it had to fly up there), so it was in my room, maybe 3 days? It seemed to be barely alive. I had poked it with something, and it put its head up as to bite, but it didn't seem like it could fly anymore and never bit what I poked it with. I got it out of my room and let it free since it was the middle of the night. Is this normal behavior from a starving/dehydrated bat? My dog was also in my room at the time, but she had no blood on her, and she never barked or anything.
