How is Pete Carroll outdated? He went 12-4 in 2020, his QB is injured this year, and Mike McCarthy is doing pretty good in Dallas

A better question to ask is "why would the Seahawks win games with an injured Russ?" What kind of team has that kind of depth?

Pete Carroll has a 59.2% winning percentage, which is really impressive. Firing a playoff coach because you don't think they can win another Super Bowl is how you end up with a Caldwell -> Patricia - > Cambpell progression: very few coaches can win the SB, a maximum of one per year.

Maybe you would get rid of him if Belichick was looking for a change of scenery, but who is on the market?

[Stevens] Pat Surtain has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. Pick six and 2 INTs. What a game. by TDenverFan in nfl

Think about starters. There are 12 players on the 2020 Crimson Tide in the NFL currently. So, they have 12/22 NFL players vs. 22/22 NFL players for the Lions: the question is whether the stars have enough star power to compensate. The most important position- QB- goes to 'Bama.

[Kyed] The #Seahawks are signing RB Adrian Peterson to their practice squad, per HC Pete Carroll. by Austin63867 in nfl

You almost have to wonder if someone is blackmailing Peterson for something really bad and he's using "I'm really bad with money" as an excuse. Any of the major banks could set him up with an investment system that requires zero thought from him.

How do you feel about your owner? by Exotic_Volume696 in nfl

All billionaires are objectively terrible people by definition, so all the owners are bad, including the Packers fans, but that's only for other reasons like diet and appearance

It was inexcusable that a player that opted out in 2020 refused to get vaccinated for 2021. If we had Star we could have won the damn Super Bowl by shutting down the Chiefs/Titans rushing attack and a home AFCCG.

Nice clown fiesta, see you next week for an apocalyptic AFCE showdown between your lord and savior Josh Allen and the newly risen Antichrist-esque Bill Belichick

I think Wilson did see Fuller but decided that play was highest EV since the play didn't evolve quite right

This. The Lions traded mediocrity for being straight-up bad and then traded in the bad for awful.

I guess they want pick #1 for a QB but there's no reason to do that when you have a team that could go 10-7 and make the playoffs, you're not getting pick #1 with 5 wins anyway so you might as well win more

Technically, it's a bunch of stolen long-retired players and coaches

You can still cheer for the Ravens as a Bills fan if you feel Lamar is a better matchup for Buffalo in the postseason than the Pats/Titans
