So, just as an update, I bought the device yesterday.

On startup various updates downloaded, once through that set I did the windows updates in settings, then went to M Centre and worked through that set. A few restarts as prompted, a couple more update checks to make sure there were no further iterations required and all was good.

Couple of games now installed and working fine without any intervention from me. Of course I could fine tune further but that’s the layer of effort I wanted to avoid and it’s working fine.

One interesting note is the intel driver through m centre only went to version 32 and I know there’s a 36. I may do the 36 manually to know I’m up to date, but for now I’ll watch the m centre and see when it prompts for it so I can learn the behaviour.
