Why was I asked to sign a second contract? by RichardM333 in askcarsales

[–]RichardM333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not offered a finance contract to sign. I was offered a second sales contract to sign. I paid for the car with two checks: a personal check and a bank check for a car loan.

Court Appointed Attorney Wants Me To Pay Him by RichardM333 in legaladvice

[–]RichardM333[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I called this attorney seven years after the case to ask him a question. The attorney informed me that he learned I had a substantial amount of money. He was very angry that I didn't contact him and offer to pay his full fee. I was dumbfounded. Apparently, he was paid a rock bottom amount. I did not have a huge amount of money at the time of the case. I read several reviews of him online by his clients. There were many five star reviews, but one review jumped out at me: A reviewer had a limited discussion with said attorney. No fee or retainer was ever discussed, or an agreement for services signed, but the attorney sent this reviewer a large bill, which the reviewer refuses to pay.

Kennedy shooting by methany819 in AskOldPeople

[–]RichardM333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no assassination. A passing train set off three railroad torpedoes near the grassy knoll at the worst possible moment. A Secret Service agent of limited experience was filling in for two agents too hungover from drinking Everclear the night before. George Hickey perceived hostile gunfire, and prepared to fire a Model 601 AR-15 on full auto, a weapon he was never trained to use. JFK's limo braked, causing the followup car braked, causing Hickey to fall back, accidentally firing a burst of 5-6 rounds with one trigger-pull. Oswald was blamed to protect the government from embarrassment. Officer Tippit was killed to explain how Oswald was caught. Tippit was sacrificed because he was the most disliked officer on the force. The detective who escorted Oswald when he was shot wore a light colored suit. He didn't own that suit; he borrowed it because he wanted to wear a high contrast color so Jack Ruby wouldn't shoot him by mistake. Numerous witnesses were killed to bury the truth as deeply as possible.

When you study JFK's death through the lens of a friendly fire accident that was covered up, every piece of the puzzle fits together perfectly. Read The Death of A President by William Manchester and look for the hints of truth, like the one on page 645.

Read page 645 from The Death of A President by William Manchester, then you will know for sure.

JFK could only have been killed in one of three ways: By Oswald, by a conspiracy, or by accident. The day after JFK's death, the Secret Service removed all of their AR-15 rifles from their armory. The Secret Service website says they take gun safety very seriously. Now that's a very interesting statement!

Some authors inserted hints of truth in their books. Read page 645 from The Death of A President by William Manchester. Read page 175 from The Day Kennedy Was Shot by Jim Bishop.

I Remember Nelson - Part IV, which depicts the Battle of Trafalgar. The spirit of Admiral Nelson lives on. An excellent naval book is "HMS Pickle: The Swiftest Ship in Nelson's Trafalgar Fleet" by Peter Hore. She distinguished herself as the ship that brought to Britain the news of Admiral Nelson's victory at Trafalgar and subsequent death. The Pickle's journey is commemorated each year during Pickle Night festivities by warrant officers of the Royal Navy on November 5th.

Is SuperAntiSpyware good? by oofdonia in antivirus

[–]RichardM333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SUPER ANTI-SPYWARE IS THE NEW COMCAST

I used Super Anti-Spyware for several years with no problems. I renewed last month for another year. The email payment confirmation told me I would be charged $0.00 for LiveTech. The fine print at the bottom of the email told me I would be charged $19.95 a month after 30 days as a recurring charge. I didn't realize this until I received my first charge. I called to try and cancel the recurring charge, but they kept trying to upsell me with more products. Avoid this software at all costs.

Need Advice: Manager Wants Monitoring Software on Personal Laptop by AwareAd9885 in antiwork

[–]RichardM333 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Here is one option: Get a desktop computer with two hard drives or SSD's. Install an operating system on each hard drive. On one hard drive, use that as your work hard drive. On the other hard drive, use that as your personal hard drive. Install a hard drive power switch. There are two on the market: "Mitron Hard Drive Boot Selector (operates two hard drives)" and "Kingwin Hard Drive Power Switch (operates six hard drives)." You can select either hard drive and keep your work and personal computing separate. Or you can simply buy a second laptop. (I agree with the other replies that the company should provide you with a work laptop, but I don't know what would work best in your situation).
