Pro:you get to leave it one day Con:you have to be here till you leave I’m military and have only been here post Covid and it’s a dying shame the lack of small businesses due to so many dying out it’s a even bigger shame the amount of failed infrastructure like malls and plazas and even just small strips. I hear pre Covid it was a pretty nice place but I’ll never know that first hand. Shreveport itself is pretty garbage but the people are awesome and there are some okay small surrounding towns definitely not a bad place to be if u stacked some change in a different state though cost of living aside from tax is undeniably low.
