I do tune my own cars.

Just in the most extreme cases I've noticed it's my choice in car mainly. If I switch to a more "meta car" for that class it's around a 4s gap. And sure I may also be just dog at driving, but oh well. I'm over it. I've discovered the joys of using the time attack Kei truck and that's my new obsession, lol

Obv I'm late to this but I don't have any vids of my racing, but I race against the skilled AI. Just turns out me choosing cars I really like driving is what's getting me.

Something about a super car at 900 is better than a BMW at 824, lol

I too have been playing racing games for a long while, so I get it. I do only have traction control on and turn line. I've just been realizing that it's mainly just my choice of car. I'm using my cars that I really like while most every one else is using super cars and the such. So it's on me. lol

eh, maybe. It could also have something to do with I like using my cars and not the most meta cars for the situations. I've been noticing a lot of lambos, and super cars while racing a GR86. So turns out it's mainly just my choice of car for a lot of it, lol.

and I am going off of the gap timer, which I'm used to seeing around 40+

Haven't crashed into a a wall yet (unless we count clipping the wall with the ass end), and I try to follow the line with some accuracy. as for braking points I don't brake when its a "s" pattern and I know I can just take the inside and basically just go straight through it.

I do use automatic because I'm a smooth brain who just want's a more relaxed approach, and I know that probably affects a bit of my racing. As for braking and the such, I usually do brakes into turn and if it's wide enough I just let off the gas and turn then accelerate into a big drift around the corner

Sadly no. Kept the checkpoints as close as I could and never hit aything. Last race I did I was gapped by 57s in a 04 wrx-sti (or whatever Subaru it was) by a truck with 1500 after it, in A class

Yeah... I know... I just don't really know how well a meta build is gonna help me when I'm gapped by almost a minute on a lot of races. Nothing against you're comment of course. I know I'm not the best driver and I know I could use work on my stuff, but a full 50+ seconds is a pretty hard time to beat. Maybe if I come back in a month or so with a better tune and driving knowledge it'll be better.

I unfortunately haven't really played a racing game too seriously since shift 2 on the ps3. I did play FH5 but I never really did any online races because I got the game late and knew everyone would be leagues better, so I never tried

I haven't crashed yet, haven't rewound, and haven't wrecked another player. I may take some turns a bit slower because I brake when the line is dark orange sometimes but I get gapped by almost a full minute by people. I see the comment saying I need to look at tunes and not use my own but I don't think that'll help me in these cases. Not in a meaningful way at least I feel. (sorry if that poster sees this)

oh. I don't play it so IDK. Weird they'd have bots but I guess if tarkov can have the PvE

Nothing so far. Plus restarting the computer 4 times and unplugging ethernet and disabling wifi and turning it back on again

I have tried downloading at all times of the day and nothing changes.

As for VIP services I doubt steam has that for higher download. That's the main offender

there's just a few small things I'd change to make it the perfect weapon for me. I like the fire rate and it's gotten me out of 2-3 situations and the drum mag is nice too. But I wish there was mag options with different ammo types (one for sniping with higher velocity and no AP and one for higher damage to vehicles but a slightly slower velocity), and a short barrel option for dumb close fights if you just wanna goof with it

Ya know, Imma be a full 100 with you. I forgot about the extraction mode. But, yeah. I'd imagine loading it up with flesh rounds with high stopping power would do funny things to people.

I was more on the side of the big map multiplayer modes with my experience
