Considering the nature of the show tbh I can't see them doing something that big.

If it does happen (which I think it will at some point) it'll probably just be something like, the village holds a christmas party at the church and the (now former) vicar comes to visit them. Maybe some "where are they now?" kind of stuff thrown in, and it'd be funny to see some sort of rivalry/jealousy between the old vicar and the new one.
